Air is a homogeneous mixture of hydrogen, nitrogen, oxygen, Carbon dioxide, dust particles, vapour etc.
It is very essential for living and thus Has several helps.
1. Air contains oxygen which is important for respiration of every organisms and thus plays a vital role.
2. Air contains Carbon dioxide which is taken by plants for photosynthesis.
3. It is necessary for burning fuels.
4. Compressed air is used for inflating tyres of bicycles, scooters, cars and buses and balloons,
footballs and otherr similar things.
5. Air plays an important role in water cycle. Hot air being lighter, rises up and carries water vapour high up in the sky to form clouds. Moving air [wind] carries clouds to different places and helps in bringing rain.
7. Air is needed to hear sound as it provides a path of molecules for the sound to move from molecules to molecules .
8. Moving air ( wind ) has force and thus force is used for sailing ships .
