Step-by-step explanation:

sin^4 theta + cos^4 theta = 1-2sin^2 theta cos ^2 theta

proof:-

LHS

(sin^2 theta + cos ^2 theta)^2

by using (a+b )^2= a^2-2ab +b^2

(sin^2 theta )^2- 2(sin^2theta)(cos ^2theta)+(cos^2theta)

1-2 sin ^2 theta cos ^2 theta

hope this will help you.....
