Solution :-

Subtracting the remainder from given numbers we get,

→ 124 - 5 = 119

→ 362 - 5 = 357

→ 532 - 5 = 527 .

now, Prime factors of 119, 357 and 527 are :-

→ 119 = 7 * 17

→ 357 = 3 * 7 * 17

→ 527 = 17 * 31

HCF = 17 .

therefore, we can conclude that, the largest number that, dividing 124, 362 and 532 gives 5 remainder each time is 17 .

Hence, 17 is correct answer.
