To Find:

The average speed....

Given:

  • Distance = 300km
  • time = t_{1} = 6hrs
  • time = t_{2} = 4hrs

Formula used:

 Average\:speed = \dfrac{s_{1} + s_{2}}{t_{1} + t_{2}}

Concept:

Here ,in this case the distance will be same...

Solution:

 Average\:speed = \dfrac{300 + 300}{6 + 4}

 Average\:speed = \dfrac{600}{10}

 Average\:speed = 60km\:hr^{-1}

{\boxed{Average\:speed = 60km\:hr^{-1}}}

Extra Information:

Some important Formulae of motion:

  • v = u + at
  • v^{2} = u^{2} + as
  • s = ut + \dfrac{1}{2}at^{2}
  • s_{n} = u + \dfrac{1}{2}a[2n - 1]
