The Nervous System is pretty much the control panel of the body sending messages to every part of your body telling them what to do and when to do it.

For instance, when you look around to see your surroundings your eyes send that information to your brain and the brain is like "new data uploaded; updating current folder....... complete" it then sends that information to your body and letting it know if this is a new place or if you have seen it before which is why deja vu happens when you do something or have seen something before, thats your brain going though its 'folders' to find that information.
