Komuram Bhim, ( 22 October 1901 - 27 October 1940 ) was a tribal leader from Adilabad district who fought against the Asaf Zahi dynasty for the liberation of Hyderabad . [1] . He was born in the forests of Adilabad, to a family of Gond tribesmen. Komaram Chinnu and Sombaru were born in 1901 in Sankepalli village in Asifabad taluka , Adilabad district to a tribal Gond tribe. [2]. The father died in an attack by forest personnel at the age of fifteen, and the Komaram family migrated to Sardapur in the Karimera region. Komaram Bhim fought in gorilla style against the Nizam government. He made the forest his livelihood and overthrew all forms of Nizam powers (i.e. courts, laws). He took up arms against the Nizam Nawab soldiers . He was martyred in a movement against the tariffs imposed on cattle herders.
