REAL NUMBERS :

a number which is either rational or irrational is called a real number.

RATIONAL NUMBERS :

A number that can be expressed as p/q , where p,q are Integers and q≠0 is called a rational number.

IRRATIONAL NUMBERS :

A number that cannot be expressed as p/q , where p,q are Integers and q≠0 is called a irrational number.

NON TERMINATING NON REPEATING DECIMAL EXPANSION :

The number which neither terminates nor repeat the particular number in the process of division , is said to be a non terminating non repeating decimal expansion. These numbers are called irrational numbers.

SOLUTION :

Decimal expansion 0.01001000100001…. is non terminating and non recurring.

Hence,0.01001000100001… it is an irrational number.

number .

Since the decimal part is not recurring

and non - terminating decimal .

So , the given number is irrational

number .
