so F = P / t

( which means that force is the rate of change of momentum in the given time)

so , change in momentum ( P ) = 10 kg m / s

Time taken = 0.01 s .

so Force applied ( F ) = ( 10 kg m/s ) / 0.01 s

= 1000 kg m /s ^2
