1) by definition amount of heat released /kg/1 C in temp is specific heat capacity of water = 4200 J/kg/C

 Heat energy released by water = mst

                                                      = 0.02 x 4200 x (70-45) C

                                                       = 2100J

2) Heat energy released by water= mst

                                                       = 0.16 x s x (45-15)

heat given= heat taken

4.8s= 2100

s= 2100/4.8

 = 437.5J/kg/C
