Given that :

Total amount of blood = 50 g

Total amount of glucose present in the blood = 0.04

To Find :

Glucose in ppm = ?

Process :

We know that the value of 1 ppm can be written as 10^6

To solve this we have to divide the total amount of glucose found in the blood by the total quantity of blood and then multiplying by the value of ppm.

 \frac{0.04}{50}  \times  {10}^{6}

 \frac{4}{5000}  \times  {10}^{6}

 \frac{4}{5}  \times  {10}^{3}

0.8 \times  {10}^{3}

800 ppm of glucose
