Explanation:

The equation is NH4OH ⇄NH4+ + OH- with the initial concentration at time t=0 as c,0 and 0 respectively for NH4OH, N+ and OH-. While at time t teh concentration will be c-x, x and x respectively in which concentration c will be 0.05 M.

While for NH4Cl⇄NH4+ + Cl- and the concentration will be c,0 and 0 for the NH4Cl, NH4+ and Cl- respectively. While here c is 0.001 M.

Now, to find the Kb = [NH4+][OH-]/[NH4OH] now taking the value of Kb as 1.8*10^-5 from the question we can find the concentration of OH- as             0.05*1.8*10^-5 /0.001 which on solving we will get OH- as 9*10^-4.
