1. Women constitutes more than half of the human race and play a crucial role in all spheres of life but still they are not always been treated with same respect as of men. Although, the time has changed but still gender inequality exists in the society.

2. It was believed that , if women would be given voting rights, they would exercise power in the political sphere. Since voting represent participation in the State, they didn't want women to participate in the decisions making of their State.

3. This is really the high time to break all these pre-existed social norms which led to inequality in the world, as no society or state can develop by neglecting the rights of half of the population.
