Given here.

Distance between two point.

=>10 = [(x-9)²+(4-10)²].

=>10 = [ (x-9)²+(-6)²]

=> 100=(x-9)²+36

=>x²+81-18x+36=100.

=>x²-18x117-100=0.

=>x²-18x+17=0.

=>x²-17x-x+17=0.

=>x(x-17)-1(x-17)=0.

=>(x-17)(x-1)=0.

=>x-17=0 or x-1=0.

=>x= 17. or x= 1.

Thus:-

Value of x= 17, 1.

Hopes its helpa u.
