The given expression is (0.1 a-0.2 c)(a+c+ac).

As you must know (x+a)(x+b)= x² +(a+b)x +ab

So, (0.1 a-0.2 c)(a+c+ac)= 0.1 a(a+c+ ac) - 0.2 c(a+c+ac)

        = 0.1 a²+ 0.1 ac+ 0.1 a²c - 0.2 ac- 0.2 c²- 0.2 a c² [using distributive property as well as x^{m}\times x^{n}=x^{m+n}  ]

= 0.1 a² - 0.2 c² + 0.1 ac - 0.2 ac +0.1 a²c-- 0.2 a c²[Adding and subtracting like terms]

= 0.1 a² - 0.2 c² -0.1 ac  +0.1 a²c-- 0.2 a c²
