Question :- Solve :-

• 0.2(5x − 6) + 2x = 0.8
• 3.5 − 9a = 2(0.5a−4)

Solution 1 :-

→ 0.2(5x − 6) + 2x = 0.8

→ 0.2*5x - 0.2*6 + 2x = 0.8

→ 1x - 1.2 + 2x = 0.8

Taking 1.2 on RHS side and changing sign,

→ x + 2x = 0.8 + 1.2

→ 3x = 2

Taking 3 on RHS side and Putting on Divide,

→ x = 2 ÷ 3

→ x = (2/3) (Ans.)

→ 3.5 − 9a = 2(0.5a−4)

→ 3.5 - 9a = 2*0.5a - 2*4

→ 3.5 - 9a = 1a - 8

→ 3.5 + 8 = 1a + 9a

→ 10a = 11.5

→ a = 11.5 ÷ 10

→ a = 11.5/10

→ a = 115/100

→ a = 1.15 (Ans.)
