1 ) . The irrigation system is important because i). irrigation before the ploughing the fields makes the soil soft due to which the ploughing of fields becomes easier.
ii). Irrigation is necessary to provide moisture for the germination of seeds. this is because it's do not grow in dry soil.
iii). Irrigation is necessary to maintain the motion of soil for healthy crop growth so as to get good yield .
iv). Irrigation is necessary for the absorption of nutrients elements by the plants from the soil. the irrigation water dissolve the nutrients present in the soil to form a solution . dissolution of nutrients is done absorbed by the roots for the development of plants .
v) . Water crops during irrigation protects the crop plants from hot air currents as well as Frost .
3 ) . The major types of farming are :-
subsistence farming, and commercial farming .
intensive farming : in this type of farming, simple tools and human labour are used to produce crops on small plots of land. if the climate is good, the crops get adequate sunshine; the soil is fertile, and the farmers are able to reap to crops in a year . rice is the main crop . apart from it , maize, pulses, wheat and all seed are also grown in intensive farming . This type of farming is prevalent in thickly populated monsoon field region of south, southeast and East Asia .
