Step1:- divided both
element their atomic
weight

si :- given 0.2 g atom it
mean this is mole of Si
mole =weight/molecular weight

0.2=weight/28.8

weight=5.76g
now

Si :- 5.76/28.8=0.2

Cl:- 21.3g/35.5g=213/355=0.6

step2:-now take of
both element
Si:Cl=0.2:0.6=1:3

now we look here one
part of silicon react
with 3 part of chlorine
so, empirical
formula=SiCl3
