0.2 ( x-3) - 0.3(1.2-2x)=0.72

Here's your answer..

It is given that 0.2 ( x-3) - 0.3(1.2-2x)=0.72

You can just multiply it by 10 on both sides which gives us the transformed equation i.e,

2 ( x - 3 ) - 3 ( 1.2 - 2 x) = 7.2

2 x - 6 - 3.6 + 6 x = 7.2

8 x = 7.2 + 9.6

x = 0.9 + 1.2 = 2.1 =  \frac{21}{10}
