Mass of boron as given = 0.096 g
Mass of oxygen as given = 0.144 g
Mass of sample as given = 0.24 g
∴ Percentage of boron by weight in the compound = (0.096 ÷ 0.24 ) x 100
                                                                                = 40%
∴ Percentage of oxygen by weight in the compound = (0.144 ÷ 0.24) x 100
                                                                                   = 60%

i hope it will help you
