Hi ,

Let x = 0.2888.... ----( 1 )

Multiply ( 1 ) with 10 , we get ,

10x = 2.888.......-----( 2 )

Multiply ( 2 ) with 10 , we get

100x = 28.888....( 3 )

Subtract ( 2 ) from ( 3 ) , we get

90x = 26

x = 26/90

x = 13/45 ( p/q form )

Therefore ,

x = 0.2888... = 13/45
