Hii friend,

0.2X + 0.3Y = 1.3.........(1)

0.4X +0.5Y = 2.3..........(2)

Multiply each equation by 10 we get,

2X + 3Y = 13........(4)

4X +5Y = 23..........(5)

From equation (4) we get,

2X +3Y = 13

2X = 13-3Y

X = 13-3Y/2.........(6)

Putting the value of X in equation (5)

4X +5Y = 23

4 × (13-3Y/2) +5Y = 23

2(13-3Y) + 5Y = 23

26 - 6Y +5Y = 23

-Y +26 = 23

-Y = 23-26

-Y = -3

Y = 3

Putting the value of Y in equation (6)

X => 13-3Y/2 => 13 - 3 × 3/2 = 13-9/2 = 4/2 = 2

Hence,

X = 2 and Y = 3..

HOPE IT WILL HELP YOU.... :-)
