Given : 0.2x-0.6y=2 ; 0.6x-0.2y=4

To Find: Solve using cramer rule

Solution:

0.2x-0.6y=2

0.6x-0.2y=4

=> 0.16x = 10

\left|\begin{array}{ccc}0.2&-0.6\\0.6&-0.2 \end{array}\right| = 0.2*(-0.2) - (0.6)(-0.6) = -0.04 + 0.36  = 0.32

x= \frac{\left|\begin{array}{ccc}2&-0.6\\4&-0.2 \end{array}\right|} {\left|\begin{array}{ccc}0.2&-0.6\\0.6&-0.2 \end{array}\right|}

=> x  = 2/0.32

=> x = 1 /0.16

=> x = 100/16

=> x = 25/4

y= \frac{\left|\begin{array}{ccc}0.2&2\\0.6&4 \end{array}\right|} {\left|\begin{array}{ccc}0.2&-0.6\\0.6&-0.2 \end{array}\right|}

=> y =  -0.4/0.32

=> y  = -5/4
