0.2x +5 upon 3.5x-3 = 2/5 .Find x

By cross multiplication, we have

5*(0.2x+5)=2*(3.5x-3)

=> x+25= 7x-6

=> x= 7x-6-25

=> x= 7x-31

=> 6x= 31

=> x= 31/6
