add all the digits of A is 8 add all digits of B is 18 add 8 and 18 is 26 add the digits of C is 18 and the answer of CD - AB is 0 so if we subtract 26 from 26 then we get 0

so we have to make CD 26 so we have to add something which will make 8 to 26 so we will add 18 to 8 to make it 26. then it will be :- CD-AB=0

26-26=0
