Nucleus:-

  • Nucleus is the brain or boss of cell. It tells the cell organelles what to do and how to perform the functions.
  • It has DNA, genes and chromosomes as well, which help in the transfer of characteristics from parents to offsprings. Genes are the basic units of inheritance.

Mitochondria:-

  • Mitochondria is known as the power house of the cell.
  • It has dounle memberane.
  • During cellular respiration, mitochondria makes ATP molecules which help provide energy to the cell to carry out various functions.

Ribosomes:-

  • Ribosomes are known as the protein factory of the cell.
  • The are responsible for synthesising proteins.
  • Endoplasmic Reticulum which has ribosomes attached to it are known as Rough Endoplasmic Reticulum (rER). They synthesise proteins.
  • Endoplasmic Reticulum which doesn't has ribosomes attached to it are known as Smooth Endoplasmic Reticulum (sER). They synthesise lipids.
