  • We have to evaluate the above expression by using the given data.

             Given data:- (0.3 p-0.4 q)^{2}.

To find:- Value of the given expression.

             Solution:-

  • We know that factorization means reducing any algebraic or quadratic equation.
  • We know the identity

        (a-b)^{2}=a^{2} -2ab+b^{2} .

        Therefore we get,

         (0.3 p-0.4 q)^{2}\\=(0.3p)^{2} -2(0.3p)(0.4q)+(0.4q)^{2} \\=0.09p^{2} -0.24pq+0.16q^{2} .

Hence we will get the value (0.3 p-0.4 q)^{2}=0.09p^{2} -0.24pq+0.16q^{2} .
