By given 1st condition

x+y=60...... (1)

And by given 2nd condition

750x+125y=17500. .... (2)

eqn 1 ×125

125x +125y =7500. ... (3)

Now eqn 2- eqn 3

750x+125y=17500

-125x -125y=-7500

=625x=10000

x=16
