Multiplying 10 with both the eq.

4x - 5y = 65 --------1

3x + 2y = 9 ---------2

Solve using substitution method

4x - 5y = 65

x = 65+ 5y/ 4 --------3

substitute the value of X in eq. 2

3( 65 + 5y /4) + 2y = 9

195 + 15y + 8y = 36

23y = 36- 195

23y = 159

y = 159/ 23

substituting value of y in eq. 3

65 + 5(159 / 23) / 4

65 + 159× 5 / 23× 4

65 + 795/ 92

5980+ 795/ 92

X = 6775/ 92
