Given, Mass of salt present = 0.5 g

Mass of water present in solution = 25 g

Mass of solution = Mass of salt + Mass of solvent =0.5 + 25= 25.5 g

∴ Percentage amount of the salt in solution=MassofsaltMassofsolution×100= 0.525.5×100=1.96%
