{\large{\mathfrak{\underline{\underline{Solution :}}}}}

\sf{0.5x - (0.8 - 0.2x) \ = \ 0.2 - 0.3}

\sf{\implies 0.5x - 0.8 + 0.2x \ = \ 0.2 - 0.3}

\sf{\implies 0.7x - 0.8 \ = \ - 0.1}

\sf{\implies 0.7x \ = \ - 0.1 + 0.8}

\sf{\implies 0.7x \ = \ 0.7}

\sf{\implies x \ = \ {\dfrac{0.7}{0.7}}}

\sf{\implies x \ = \ 1}

0.5 x - (0.8 - 0.2x) = 0.2 - 0.3...........(1) \\  \\ multiplying \: equation(1) \: by \: 10 \\  \\ 5x - (8 - 2x) = 2 - 3 \\  \\  =  > 5x - 8 + 2x =  - 1 \\  \\  =  > 5x  + 2x =  - 1 + 8 \\  \\  =  > 7x = 7 \\  \\  =  > x =  \frac{7}{7}  \\  \\  =  > x = 1

hope it helps.....
