Solution : $0.05x = 4$

To solve we will have to arrange like terms together of given equation

       $0.5x + 0.9 = 0.45x + 4.9$  

⇒     $0.5x - 0.45x = 4.9 - 0.9$

⇒     $0.05x = 4$

⇒         $x = \frac{4}{0.05}$

To remove decimal we will multiply numerator and denominator by  100.

⇒          $x = \frac{4\times 100}{0.05\times100}$

⇒          $x = \frac{400}{5}$

⇒          $x = 80$    

Hence, 80 is the  correct answer.
