(0.5x-4)/(2.4x+6)=5/3 solve the equation

DMani3: 0.5x-4/2.4x+6=-5/3

We move all terms to the left:

0.5x-4/2.4x+6-(-5/3)=0

Domain of the equation: 2.4x!=0

x!=0/2.4

x!=0

x∈R

We get rid of parentheses

0.5x-4/2.4x+6+5/3=0

We calculate fractions
