Answer:

Given-:

0.6 of a number is 20 less than the original number. Find the number.

A positive number is 3 times another number 183 ir added

To find -:

Let the number is x.

According to the question-:

  • Let the number be x.
  • 0.6 × x = x - 20
  • 6/10x = x - 20

x \:  =  \frac{6x}{10}  - 20

 \frac{10x \:  - 6x}{10}  = 20

 \frac{4x}{10}   = 4 \times 5

SIMPLEST \:  FORM  =  \frac{x}{10} = 5

x \:  = 10 \times 5

x = 50

Thus,the number is 50.
