Neeru was a senior nurse who worked for the welfare of the army and went on a camp with their team of doctors. It was the time of war between India and Pakistan and a major one indeed.
Right after the first day of the war, the wounded soldiers who worked diligently came back to the camp and got immediate attention from Neeru. She attended them and provided them with all the first aid required.
This continued for days but no one gave up. Neeru along with the doctors was of great help to the wounded soldiers. Almost round the clock, some of them recovered and were sent back to work.
The war finally ended and our army won it with full dedication. Neeru also returned to her hospital and later was awarded for excellence in the profession by the hospital authorities as well as the Government.
