Alright, there's a trick to solving these if you get confused doing normal multiplication.

You can represent them as fractions like this:

0.89 = \frac{89}{100}

0.3 = \frac{3}{10}

Now, multipling them like this:

\frac{89}{100} * \frac{3}{10}

\frac{89*3}{100*10}

\frac{267}{1000}

Now, to convert back to decimal, you place the decimal point X many times to the left of the last digit of your numerator, where X is the number of zeroes in the denominator.

So, in this case, 3 zeroes, so the decimal point is 3 places to the left of 267

So,

.267

or 0.267

Hope this Helped!
