Democracy is for the citizen. Democracy and the state is successful due to the dedicated participation of citizens. Where ever there is gap between the democratic process and the citizen, the state fails to perform and deliver justice to its citizens. Success of democracy is due to the complete participation of citizens. The dignity of state and its citizen are inter linked. When the state has a dignified system of democracy, the citizens dignity is also improved. As the people, so the government in a state.
