politics influences caste system when it uses vote bank politics. some politicians have strategy of alluring a section of society that has been marginalized and underdeveloped by using caste based divisive wedges in the society. they either seek for vote from the section of caste they belong to or announce forms of reservation, privileges for the sections of caste,they seeks vote from. Reservation was an affirmative action introduced by Bhim Rao Ambedkar to be continued for only 10 years but it continued because the politician gain to it.
