The population of a country is affected by Physiography and climate. Due to farming, industries and trade, the proportion of the population got concentrated in a few places. Nearness to the sea provide fishing occupation, cultivable land provides agriculture opportunities and new cities and towns open scope for employments.

Lack of roads hamper easy transportation of people hence these areas will have less population density.
