0 is even or odd and why?

0 is even beacuse the distinction between being even or odd is wheather 2 divides a number or not. Zero is even because 2 divides it. That can be seen by the fact that 0=2∗0.

0 is nither even nor odd. because in integers '0' is the number with out any sign!

chendu: 1 only divides it 1*00
chendu: 1*0=0
iiTeeheeii: see......signs and even- odd are two different things :D
