0 is the identity for multiplication of whole numbers is FALSE

Identity Property of Multiplication

For any real number : a

a.1 = 1.a = a

Number 1  is multiplicative identity.

As whole number is subset of real numbers

hence 1  is the identity for multiplication of whole numbers

So, 0 is the identity for multiplication of whole numbers is FALSE

Identity Property of Addition

For any real number : a

a + 0= 0 + a = a

Number 0  is additive identity.

As whole number is subset of real numbers

hence 0  is the identity for Addition of whole numbers

So, 0 is the identity for addition of whole numbers
