0 pOles of equal heights are standing opposite each On either side of the road , 80 m wide , From a point between them On the road , the angle of elevation of the top of me LI poles are 60° and 30° , respectively . What is the height of the poles ? ( 1 ) 20 rn | ( 2 ) 20 . 3m ( 3 ) 60 m | ( 4 ) 6043 m 99

Answer:

you have to use trigonometric functions and ans is 20√3

Step-by-step explanation:

we height h and two poles are namely AB and DE the point is C

the angles are on the either side

the distance between them is 80

for tri ABC the base ( BC ) is X

and for tri CDE base ( CD ) is 80- X

using tan 60 and tan 30 respectively

( I am using tan 30 in tri ABC ).

so X is √3h --- eqn 1and and height we get is 80√3 - √3X --- eqn 2

putting value of X from eqn 1 in eqn 2

we get answer as 20√3 m
