  • Side of the square = 35cm.

Given :–

  • The area of a square = 1225cm².

To Find :–

  • The side of the square.

Solution :–

We know that,

Area of the square = (side)²

Here we have,

 \implies \sf {1225cm}^{2}  =  {side}^{2}

 \implies \sf \sqrt{1225 \: {cm}^{2} } = side

We know that,

  • √1225 = 35.
  • Also the square root cuts the power.

So,

Now we have,

 \implies \sf35 cm = side

Hence,

The side of the square is 35cm.

Additional Information :–

Some points about the square.

1) It has 4 sides and all sides are equal.

2) It has 4 edges.

3) Internal angles of a square is 90°.

4) Sum of the interior angles of a square is 360°.

It has 4 edges and the measures of all the angles is 90°.

So,

→ 90° + 90° + 90° + 90°

→ 180° + 180°

→ 360°

5) Perimeter of the square = 4 × Side.

6) Area of the square = Side²
