"Chikankari", was the art form introduced by Noor Jahan to India.

Noor Jahan, the spouse of Mughal sovereign Jehangir, presented the Persian craftsmanship in India in the seventeenth hundred years. She personally was a capable embroideress, and had a specific affection for this craftsmanship. Her significant other is said to have adored "chikankari" work as well and has laid out a few workshops to consummate this fine art in India. Chikankari, in the exacting sense signifies "embroidery"

This customary weaving style is one of Lucknow's most antiquated and notable fine arts.
