Let, the ages of A be 4x and B be 3x

After 6 years the ages will be

A = 4x + 6

B = 3x + 6

Now, the ratio of ages is 11:9

 \frac{4x + 6}{3x + 6}  =  \frac{11}{9}

9 ( 4x + 6 ) = 11 ( 3x + 6 )

36x + 54 = 33x + 66

3x = 12

x = 4

So the present age of A = 4 × 4 = 16 years old

B = 3 × 4 = 12

Hope it helps you ❤❤❤ !
