Answer is OB = 2 cm

BE=BD=

OB=OC-1

OD=OC

Find the length of OD using pythagoras.

After writing the equation replace OD and OB with above mentioned values. And write root 5 in place of BD.

Entire equation will be in terms of OC. Solve to find that OC is 3cm.

The OB automatically becomes 2 cm.
