Both Assertion and Reason are true and Reason (R) is not the correct explanation of Assertion (A) . Hence , option (b) is the correct .

  • Acidic salt are formed on reaction of strong acid with weak base .
  • Basic salt are formed on reaction of weak acid with strong base .
