Start the conversation with short greetings like “Hi”, “Hello”, to let them know that you want to start a conversation it’s a good way to get other users attention to what you want to say.

Match or at least level with the communication style of the receiver, otherwise the other end will start to lose interest.

Keep the conversation short, as the receiver might be talking to multiple people at once or might not type fast as you, replying or asking long answer might annoy the receiver and will cease the communication altogether
