Answer:

let,

small one be x

bigger one be y

ATQ

2x = 3y

=> 2x - 3y = 0 -(1)

2x+3y = 180 -(2)

now after adding (1) & (2)

2x -3y = 0

+2x+3y = 180

we get,

4x = 180

x= 45

2x 45 = 3y

y = 30

hope it helps

Answer:

The second angle is greater..

Step-by-step explanation:

Supplementary angles = add up to 180 degree

1st angle:

Let angle 1 be ‘x’

2nd angle:

According to the question:

2x = 3y

So, x = 3y/2

hence we can write the statement as:

3y/2 + 2(3y/2) =180 degree

3y/2 + 3y = 180 degree

3y/2 + 6y/2 = 180 degree

9y/2 = 180 degree

9y = 180*2

y = 360/9 = 40

So, y = 40 then x = (2x=3*40) 60

So, the first angle is 60 degree

and the second angle = 3*40 = 120 degree

The second angle is greater..

thank you

hope it helps..
