a) infiltration :- Infiltration is the process by which water on the ground surface enters the soil. Infiltration is soverned by two forces, gravity, and capillary action. Infiltration rate is soil science is a measure of the rate at which a particular soil is able to absorb rainfall or irrigation.

b) water level groundwater :- The area where water fills the aquifer is called the saturated zone (or saturation zone). The top of this zone is called the water table. The water table may be located only a foot below the ground's surface or it can sit hundreds of feet down.
