08. The following displacement - time graph shows the positions of a body at different times. Calculate
the velocity of the body as it moves from (i) A - B (ii) B-C (iii) C-D

Answer: (1) 0.6m/s-1

(2) 0 m/s-1

(3) - 1 m/s -1

Explanation: ( 1 ) v = d / t

=3/5=0.6 m/s-1

2: i.e B to C thats v =d/t

Niw u can u see there ni displacement so body is at rest at given time thats 0 metres / 2 sec = 0

3: v = d/ t

V = - 3 / 3

= - 1 m/s - 1

- 3 bcoz displacement is falling down as it decreses
